An Instagramable Gallery of My Fun Experience at Malagos Chocolate Park and Museum, Davao City
The Malagos Chocolate Park and Malagos Chocolate Museum are two of the places at Malagos Garden Resort that you should not miss especially if you love sweets like me. Surely, you will enjoy and have fun exploring, learning, and of course taking lots of photos in these two places. This is actually our last destination and my favorite part during our day tour at Malagos Garden Resort.
By the way, this blog post is a continuation of Malagos Garden Resort: What To Do and Expect in this Garden Resort in Davao City. You will find lots of photos in there too. So, if you have not read it yet, here is a link for you. 😊
Malagos Chocolate Park
As we approach the Malagos Chocolate Museum, my eyes went wide open upon seeing these huge sweet goodies at the Malagos Chocolate Park, which is located just in front the museum.
Feels like I am in wonderland just like Alice (from the film Alice in Wonderland), where everything is like a fantasy. Not to mention that there are enemies too! So, beware of giant ants!
Malagos Chocolate Museum
The Malagos Chocolate Museum is the first chocolate museum established in the Philippines. Upon entering the museum, we were greeted by a huge chocolate egg (it’s real) with a straw hat, a wall of chocolate bars at the reception area, and of course the chocolate aroma that smells so good.
The museum showcases its history, facts about chocolates, growing a cocoa tree, the process how cocoa beans are turned into a chocolate bar (so as they call it a “tree to bar experience”), and so on. You will not get bored because fun and interactive activities are available inside the chocolate museum as you learn and go around. It’s perfect for kids and adults.
We enjoyed reading, playing, going around, and of course we took lots of photos too! Both the Malagos Chocolate Park and Chocolate Museum are instagramable for me.
By the way, they offer chocolate making too. If you still have time and your budget permits you, I would suggest to try and experience making your own chocolates. We have not experienced making our own since it’s time for us to leave to make it to our next appointment.
Indeed, leaving Malagos Garden Resort will make your minds full. Every part in this garden resort is a place where learning new things is present. A day is not enough to fully explore Malagos. But it is definitely a place for all ages that everyone will surely enjoy.
